Calypso technical team was present at the World Windsurfing Raceboard which took place in the town of Blanes (Girona) as part of the organization. The Club Vela Blanes was helped of some Cups 4.0 units.
The continued implementation by intensity readings during the races of this modality of windsurfing is crucial, as they depend on the wind intensity is higher than a certain knots to make races.
A 4.0 Cups unist were used in the Race Committee boat and in the jury boats for performing readings in the whole area of the race. With a low-intensity of wind and a high speed boat, we could check that the conversion of apparent wind is very fast and precise and no jumps occurred. Official race boats did in the water changes direction and speed, some of them very sharp, which were run at 4.0 Cups in extreme sailing conditions.
