Calypso Instruments and the University of Zaragoza Transportation Engineering Department team up to conduct wind monitoring research in vehicles.
Using a Calypso Portable wind meter apparent real wind data was obtained for different tracks. Vehicle performance data was logged using an On Board Diagnostics (OBD). Also, Computer Fluid Dynamic (CFD) models were developed to understand the influence of the vehicle aerodynamics on the real wind measurement
